The immortal words of Clint Eastwood as Harry Callahan in the cult classic ‘Dirty Harry’ has befallen the ears of roughly every English speaking male on the planet, granted only a fraction have ever seen the movie but the quote is one of the greats. The line in the movie actually is:”I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?”

The Dawning of Wallpapers

This is first of many designs that I’m making as wallpapers for a good friend of mine who, depending on his secret agent status will be revealed soon (this guy taught that 007 character everything he knows) he has commissioned me for a ton of these for his soon to be utterly awesome site, where you can download among other things wallpapers constructed for all screen sizes including even iPhones, in other words watch this space I’ll be putting a link up soon.

Designs out of hibernation
Hi everyone sorry for the extended leave of absence from posting on this blog, to say I have been busy would be akin to saying the SA weather is tending slightly to the nippy side (for the international readers, we are freezing down here…yeah…yeah… ok, compared to Calgary we are toasty but us South Africans love our sunny warm weather so this cold front monstrosity is not exactly welcome). On to other news I have been offered a position at a really cool company which is online based so I’ll be learning more about my mistress the internet as well as actually using all my Google knowledge for marketing and search engine optimization.
The logo you see above is one I designed for some awesome friends who have great taste and are incredibly fun to work with. They have a interior design and construction company called Dolce Diva. They have just started a blog so click on over and check them out.

a stroll on light

Would it not be simpler if the chasm over which we need to leap when a risk is to be taken were lit, if you knew the gorgeous woman at the end of the bar liked you in return, that the new job offered would be worth the risk, that the investment your lifesavings are in will reap rewards? Of course in life it is purely because the chasm is dark and unsure that we feel so relieved and grateful when the risk works in our favor. However this daunting reality does not make us grateful for the chasm because many a time our fears are justified. Alas to reap any true success in life risks must be taken.
